I am a learning analyst and data scientist living in Brooklyn, New York.
I have over ten years of experience working in education in various roles, including content and curriculum developer, researcher, and educator. As an instructor, I have taught high school physics in NJ, middle school robotics classes in NYC, and tutored students of all ages in a wide variety of subjects. I am currently working as a data scientist at Renaissance Learning, where I design and test algorithms to measure student learning and model content. This work helps to make it easier for teachers to match individual students with instructional resources that are at the right level for their needs.
My free time is usually spent noodling on some instrument – probably a guitar, mandolin, or keyboard, or singing a cappella music.
